CAL Update and other exhausting stuff!

so, today was very exhasting for a jobless housewife. hehe! Not only was is payday which does not really feel like one. :( After paying bills I decided to go to the library and see what wonderful crochet books I could find. I found quite a few and I borrowed 5 of them for a lil variety! woohoo!!! here they are:

Anyway, I also caught up on my 12" monthly CAL from Ravelry. I am so proud of my self I believe I finished 5 squares in 3 or 4 days.

Now I can work on my favors for my wedding guests and maybe start a nifty project from the books I got from the library. Phew! I am exhausted, okay I am on my way to bed. Nighty night everyone!

Ravelry- Woohoo!

I finally recieved my invite to Ravelry the other day! Woohoo! Although it seems like a long time, it is truely worth it. There are some awesome people and great patterns. I have joined about 3 groups and right now I am catching up on the 2008 12" crochet block-a-month cal. My favorite part about Ravelry is that you can que the patterns you would like to use. NO more bookmarking patterns thank goodness. just que and when you are ready to get started pull it up and start working on it! I love it! Anyway, that's what is going on Here is a picture of the Jan 2008 block I have finished and I am finishing up the Feb 2008 one. This is sooooo much fun!
